The summer months have finally arrived, we are singing without masks and the future is looking brighter for all of us. Music making is returning as we realize how important this creative process is for the betterment of our spirit. Many of us have suffered over the pandemic and some have lost loved ones. As we find a way to mourn and pay tribute to these souls, let me share some thoughts about the upcoming musical tribute we are planning.
On September 12, 2021 at 3:00pm the PA Northeast Chapter of the AGO will host a memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church in Wilkes- Barre. This service will include a performance of the “Requiem” by Gabriel Faure.
I am asking friends and fellow musicians who would like to be a part of this and are willing to sing in the performance to please contact me. You can contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 570 650 6459 (cell) or 570 824 2478 (church).
Thank you in advance for you willingness to contribute your talents to this upcoming memorial service.
